Kwik-Klik's John Whaites was a key speaker at a high profile sustainability event hosted in Yorkshire by the BBEF (Better Business Environment Forum) on 1st November 2011.
John shared a platform with a speaker from the Enterprise Europe Network, who offer business advice on public tenders throughout Europe, and a member of Bradford University's award-winning Procurement Team.
The key theme explored was how to win business by focusing on sustainability and environmental excellence.
John demonstrated the evolution of Kwik-Klik's 100% recycled hoarding panels and showcased the re-usable panels used at Dublin Airport for 3 years before being installed in recent months at ITV Granada Studios in Manchester and the Olympic Park in London.
John also explained how Kwik-Klik was winning business by responding to top-down EU and UK government pressures placed on large companies to meet their environmental obligations.
He outlined how Kwik-Klik's modular, re-usable systems are helping clients to lower their carbon emissions, reduce the waste sent to landfill and improve their project BREAAM ratings.
