K-K involved in major project at St David's Centre, Cardiff
Kwik-Klik Soundmaster hoarding keeps St David's trading
A major expansion and refurbishment of St David's shopping centre in Cardiff's city centre is well under way, with some big name stores due to open in October 09 and a new floor due to open in 2010.
Kwik-Klick's heavy duty Soundmaster system is being used throughout the centre to allow it to continue trading while extensive work is carried out behind the hoarding.
Over 500 hundred Soundmaster panels have been used up to a height of 8 metres and imaginative vinyl graphics have been attached to the hoardings on the different levels within St David's. Click on the photograph to see a spectacular view of what the centre will look like when work is completed next year.
St David's Centre is a prestigious Land Securities development and Kwik-Klik is working with main contractor, Vindico Retail.
K-K's MD, Tony Doherty says, "We continue to be involved in some of the most exciting projects in the UK and St David's is certainly going to be one of the premier shopping centres in the UK. Our Soundmaster system is ideal for the job as it represses sound, provides a fire barrier and creates a smooth, even surface on which to place the superb full colour vinyls.'
