When it happened to K2 Polymer Systems in Derbyshire, they called in the Kwik-Klik team to build a secure hoarding to screen off the damaged area for 2 weeks while extensive repairs were made.

K-K’s Soundmaster system was used to create a robust internal 5 metre wall that protected the inside of the warehouse from the dust and noise created during the repair work.

The seals were particularly important as asbestos rendering was involved in the remedial work.

K-K MD Tony Doherty commented. “We normally use Soundmaster when a planned demolition of a dividing wall or external wall is needed. It’s not often that we get called out to unplanned incidents like this, but our systems and our installation teams are very versatile. We soon secured the site for construction work to begin.”
