K-K starts preliminary work at Cannon Street Station
K-K has received confirmation of the schedule of works for the huge Cannon Street Station project
Kwik-Klik has begun installing hoardings at the entrance of Cannon Street Station in London.
This is part of the preliminary phase of major Network Rail contract which will see major structural improvements and the refurbishment of Cannon Street main line station and work on a similar scale at both Paddington and Victoria stations.
In addition to the Complete panelwork on the entrance as seen above, Kwik-Klik has already completed work on tunnel storage pods beneath the station platform.
Further work on Platdforms 7 and 1 and a new dividing wall has been scheduled in for the remaining weeks in August.
The Network Rail station upgrade programme is set to continue over the next 3 years so that stations are completed in time for the London Olympics in 2012.
More updates and photographs of this developing project will appear on our website and in the trade press.
