K-K Ultraspan Extra welcomes arrivals at Heathrow
Kwik-Klik has carried out two substantial installations in the arrivals lounge of Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport.
Two systems were used. The hoarding seen in the photograph above is Ultraspan Extra. The temporary wall is 25 linear metres long and 4 metres high. It blends in well with the airport decor and delivers passengers safely around the outer perimeter of a sizeable work area where PAL Consultants are carrying out a major construction project.
The second Kwik-Klik system used is Duraspan. 27 linear metres are being used with a height 3.5 metres. Both systems are expected to remain in place for 8 weeks and will be removed in March 08.
“Our work within airports is expanding at a pace. We currently have systems in Manchester, Dublin and Heathrow and the choice of systems we offer means that airports and contractors benefit from the aesthetics, the safety and the acoustic properties of our hoardings.” said Kwik-Klik MD Tony Doherty.
“In each location, we will recommend a Kwik-Klik system that is fit for purpose; delivering safety, efficiency and a clean environment for passengers.”
Kwik-Klik’s sister company, Ecogenik has also installed a hoarding made with 50% recycled PVC in the multi-storey car park at Heathrow’s Terminal 4. For details please go to www.ecogenik.co.uk
