A 2-phase hoarding for Hamleys Toys

A 2-phase Kwik-Klik hoarding prepared the way for Hamleys Toys to launch their newest store in Manchester's Trafford Centre.

During Phase1 an overnight installation hoarded the double-width store front of Unit 19 with a 13 linear metre hoarding. The Soundmaster fire -rated hoarding was 4.5m high with a roof over the void between the hoarding and the store front.

Bespoke Hamleys vinyls were applied across the hoarding as seen in photo 1 and a digi-lock double door provided a secure site entrance on the right.

After 4 weeks the main hoarding was dismantled and many of the panels were re-used to to hoard the front of the neighbouring Unit 23 which was previously occupied by Ann Summers.

Between 11pm and 3am the Kwik-Klik team removed the main hoarding revealing the new store front and installed a new 5m hoarding next door.

Photos 2 to 5 show the rapid progress made by the team in just 4 hours. Graphics were applied to the new hoarding before the store opened on the following hoarding.

The Hamleys project illustrates both the speed and sustainability benefits of using Kwik-Klik. Our modular panels can be re-used and our Zero to Landfill policy ensures that all off-cuts are recycled.

The overnight working benefits Shopping Centres by ensuring there is no disruption to shoppers and tradesmen / refit specialists have secure 'next day' access to the store interior.
