Extensive new hoardings to support major station upgrade

Kwik-Klik has installed a further 200 linear metres of hoarding along platforms at Reading Station.

As part of their major station upgrade programme, Network Rail are building 9 new platforms and and a covered passenger footbridge concourse that will provide lift and escalator access to every platform. The photographs show a central compound created by our hoardings where the supports for the new concourse are in place.

Hoardings are also sited along other platforms allowing work on new platforms and the concourse to proceed while the station continues to operate as normal.

The project uses 500mm wide x 3 metre high Ultraspan panels which are manufactured to Network Rail's R-11 specifications in their corporate colours.

The panels used are made from 100% recycled PVC and at the end of their life, these panels are also 100% recyclable.
