Secure hoardings airside and landside

Kwik-Klik was involved in two major projects within Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport.

Our installation teams had to undergo daily security checks to work airside and to create safe passenger corridors through areas where major works were being carried out, including installing new lifts and escalators.

Our fire-rated Soundmaster panels provided secure, clean and soundproof temporary walls to ensure the airport could continue to function throughout the works. We also worked on the landside areas of the terminal on the retail concourse and fitted dust sheets to ceiling height to keep dust and noise within the construction area.

The contractor was ISG and the landside hoardings were part of a
14-month project. The photographs show the two main areas we worked on.

Kwik-Klik also installed smaller hoardings in other locations within the airport, using our lightweight Ultraspan system.
