K-K supervised on-site installation with the Murphy's team

The hoarding installation for a Cable Tunnelling Project in North London is a great example of Kwik-klik providing excellent value for money to a main contractor who wanted to buy our hoarding materials outright.

The main contractor, J Murphy and Sons is working on a Deep Cable Tunnelling Project on behalf of UK Power Networks in Willesden, Brent.

Kwik-Klik supplied 200 linear metres of grey Ultraspan Extra hoarding panels along with fixings and green trims to match Murphy's corporate colours. The hoarding has created a secure site perimeter which enables tunnelling work to proceed.

Kwik-Klik also provided an on-site supervisor to ensure the hoarding was installed correctly and that the steel gates and secure personnel doors were added without a hitch. Derek Papworth was originally due to spend 5 days on site, but this was extended to 8 days to oversee the whole of the installation.

Initial feedback from Murphy's and UK Power Networks has been very positive and both parties have suggested that Ultraspan panels should be used in future projects where a hoarding is needed for similar ground conditions.

Kwik-Klik MD, Tony Doherty said "This is a good example of the main contractor getting a good price when buying our re-usable hoardings and they also benefited from our on-site installation expertise. When our hoardings are fitted correctly they have a professional finish which enhances the reputation of the contractor and the client. So we are always willing to get involved on-site and ensure the highest standards are met."
