Major supermarket installation for Asda

Kwik-Klik has installed an extensive floor-to-ceiling temporary screen at Asda's Robroyston store in Glasgow.

Over 100 linear metres of grey Ultraspan panels were installed in one night for the first phase of the project. In addition, 450 square metres of fire barrier film was used to seal off the work area to roof height. A scissor lift was used to ensure the safe and speedy installation of the 5 metre high Ultraspan panels.

As soon as part of the hoardings were complete, staff began re-locating fridges and shelving. Re-stocking parts of the store began during the night to ensure the store was ready to trade in the morning.

Kwik-Klik worked with Bowmer & Kirkland on the project. The hoarding was configured to ensure that the Asda store optimised the use of available floor space throughout the project.
